Sunday Sketch Challenge

For the sundaystamps.blogspot.com Sunday Sketch Challenge I am entering a card for the very first time!!
I created this card by first embossing the cupcake stamp from Winnie & Walter's Sugar Rush Stamp set using white embossing powder on Distress Watercolor Cardstock, next I water colored the background using  Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick.
To follow the sketch I decided to place four cupcakes on the background paper. The cupcakes are from Simon Says Stamp Birthday Circle die. I cut four cupcakes from silver foil Cardstock and four from Distress watercolor paper. I used the "icing" from the watercolor paper and colored it using Distress Ink in Pickled Raspberry.
For the finishing touch I used Multi-Medium Matte from Ranger Ink to adhere Pretty Pink Posh seed beads in Razzle Dazzle.

Happy Birthday

I am still new at blogging, so here goes. . .
Today's card I made using Simons Says Stamps Happy Birthday Circle die, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Lil' Inker Ombré Stripes 6x6 Paper Pad, silver foil card stock, and My Favorite Things Sweet Tooth card stock. Of course, no card would be complete without Pretty Pink Posh sequins as "the icing on the cake!"
